I had aimed to get another three items into my shop by today, and it hasn’t happened. Due to me feeling majorly icky pants this week and busy slightly busy with other things. I have two (ish) projects in the making, including this little brooch below.

The reason for the “ish”, is that the other item, a hand knitted netbook cosy, has taken me so long to knit I don’t know wether I want to sell it or not. I really should, I need to sell things, but I’m scared of having to underprice it for it to sell, I still consider myself to be a n00b at knitting, so things take me a while to make, but I still have to compete with the hardcore knitters.

I’m thinking of making cosies out of thick felt in the future, if I manage to get my hands on some.

I have also started crochet, after months of saying I would do it. I was a bit scared that it would be super easy compared to knitting and I would never pick up my needles again and never finish the three things I’ve started. But luckily crochet is fiddly enough to keep me from giving up knitting forever. I think I’ve got the hang of the chain stich now. My ambition is to make myself a granny square blanket.

It’s my second or third attempt at following the first few steps of this threadbanger tutorial below. I apologise for the poor pic, the light is starting to fade. One day I shall have a hat and it shall be glorious.
