little lull

I can’t stand not doing something for a long period of time. I get all twitchy and snappy, and end up in a bit of a funk and end up not wanting to do anything. So I was a little bit worried this weekend when I decided to stop making things for a couple of days, and spend some time in reality, trawling job websites and sending off CVs. Now while I wait for replies hopefully offering me a job, I need to keep my mind and hands busy.

The voices in my head need to be distracted by the making of pretty things.

I have several ideas floating around my head, I’m wanting to try different ideas, things I don’t usually do, or have stopped doing. One of the ideas that is desperately trying to get out is a time reactive wall hanging. I want to make a piece that changes its mood throughout the day, almost like a clock, but instead of simply telling you the time, the light in your room changes every hour. If I get it right I think it’ll be really good. Or awesome if I really get it right.

I think it will be glue gun time shortly.

I also need to do something with my RFID reader. :|
