I’ve been working on my second mitten prototype, knitting some mittens from scratch, with the conductive thread knitted into the mitten itself, not added as a patch later.

So far I’ve only knitted one of the mittens, a rectangle knitted in garter stitch, with the conductive thread knitted in a square around the size of a palm.

Yay rectangles!

Just fold it in half, and leave a hole for the thumb to go through…

Who needs warm thumbs, when you have a conductive surface on your mitts? I then pinned some LEDs into place.

And used conductive thread to make a circuit. Voila!

Magical light up mitten! Now I just need to knit it’s twin.
